A simplified guide I've put together over the years of being an agent.
Pair yourself with a good Realtor® that understands your wants and needs — someone you don’t mind spending time with, as finding the right property can sometimes take a while.
Have your agent set you up with a home buyer’s search on the MLS to review all homes that fit your criteria.
Start touring homes. After reviewing a significant amount online, you’ll have a better feel for what’s out there and can move on to in-person Home Tours.
Get an Accepted Offer.
Send earnest money to the lender.
Schedule a Home Inspection if applicable.
Complete your loan application and appraisal.
Loan commitment and final walk through of the home.
Close on your home.
